Adding Twitter to WordPress.com Blogs

  1. 1
Sign in to your WordPress.com profile. Choose the blog to which you would like to add Twitter. Click the "Dashboard" option on the drop down menu.
  2. 2
Scroll down the Dashboard on the left side until you find the "Appearance" section. Click on that menu and choose "Widgets" from the options. You should see a page filled with Widgets that are currently available to be added to your blog.
  3. 3
Move through the alphabetical list of widgets until you find the 1 that says "Twitter." Click and drag the Twitter box up to the right hand corner of the page. You will find the places that you can place your Twitter posts according to your theme, such as "Footer Area One."
  4. 4
Drop the Twitter box in the location where you want your tweets to appear on your profile. Enter a title, your Twitter username and the number of Tweets that you would like to appear at 1 time. You can choose whether you want to include retweets and if you want a Twitter "Follow" button on the bottom.
  5. 5
Click "Save." Your Tweets will now appear on your blog. Return to the Widget menu to adjust your settings in the Twitter box in the upper right corner.
